We recently got back from a pretty awesome trip to Alaska! Gee & Grandpa surprised us and gave Declan & I a Disney Alaskan Cruise for Christmas, and the time finally came to go on our adventure! We started off in Vancouver - and really enjoyed the enormous suspension bridge and totem poles. It was just Gee & Grandpa and us for the first few days...but then something surprising happened! Mama and Dada surprised us and showed up for the cruise! I guess they knew about this, but Declan & I didn't. Mama & Dada basically realized that we were gone on many trips this summer with our grandparents, and they were going to miss us! So, they asked really really nicely, and Gee & Grandpa said they could join us on the cruise. We still did all our meals with Gee & Grandpa and slept in their room, but Mama & Dada joined us for a few hours each day.

And they also saw a pod of Orcas, including a baby!
Declan & Dada played chess many evenings
In Ketchikan, we took a float plane out to an island to watch the salmon run - unfortunately didn't see any bears though.

After a week, it was time to head home to our own beds, and more importantly our animals! We have one more trip coming up before we settle in to the new school year - a few more weeks of summer!
